Finanzkrise auch hier...

Okay, eigentlich wollte ich hier ja nur über meinen Aufenthalt in Irland schreiben, aber nachdem wir diese Woche den Zusammenbruch eines Wirtschaftssystems erleben, möchte ich hier wenigstens mal einen Link zu einem Artikel von Professor Krugman in der New York Times von heute anbringen - und natürlich meine Antwort darauf:

Dear Professor Krugman
your deliberation on the current crisis sounds well-founded. But I think it wouldn't be enough to stop the vicious circle. Of course, there is a lack of capital flow in between the banks - but further, all national endeavours to fix these alarming signals failed. I fear a G8 and the IMF announcement isn't strong enough to break the downward spiral. In that case economic figures are not the main reason for this disaster anymore - it's the lack of trust. Nobody trusts in this system until fundamental changes are proposed. Everyone knows the reason for our problem is mainly the global finance capitalism we have had the last decades. The dogmatic believe in free markets without regulations brought us to this situation.
But where is the plan for a well-controlled global financial market? Only the prospect of a new financial system will calm down the markets. Regain the faith of the public is only possible by announcing the implementation of a system which can't fail like the current.
But how can Mr Paulson (and of course other European politicians and economists) recover trust to the system? They are symbols for this old and failed system!
We as western citizen shouldn't wait until other dogmatic politicians and economist (e.g. socialist, nationalist or whatever) gain in power. To save our political and economic freedom we need a strong regulation of the global markets.
